Buy and sell birds responsibly with Birdfile! Always get a transfer statement to prove the legal origin of the animal, which is essential for CITES A and B animals. This statement is not only required for inspections by the NVWA/RVO, but also for sales at trade fairs.
But that's not all! With Birdfile you can seamlessly continue with the administration of the animal, exactly where the previous owner left off. As a result, you are fully aware of the history of the animal and you can easily add the descendants to the administration. This way your administration always remains up-to-date and the parent animals are automatically stated on the transfer statement, as has been mandatory since 2019.
Not only can you buy and sell animals via Birdfile, but you can also keep records of all your bird species in a manner that is accepted by the NVWA/RVO. So don't just put the animals you want to sell in Birdfile, but your entire animal file. This allows you to quickly add offspring and link them to the parent animals, so that the administration of the parent animals remains up-to-date.
Thanks to Birdfile you can not only buy and sell responsibly, but also effortlessly comply with the required administration. Keep track of your animals and their history with our reliable platform!
We guarantee a transfer statement by using Birdfile's Marketplace, where the owner must first add the animals to our system. As a result, we have all the data of both the owner and the animal. When purchasing an animal via Birdfile, a transfer statement is automatically generated and sent to the specified e-mail address.
In the email you will also receive the option to activate your account, if you have not already done so. This allows you to generate an online administration form and easily manage your animal(s). This offers a transparent administration method approved by the NVWA/RVO.
Do you want to offer one of your animals in the future? This can be done very easily by going to 'My animals', clicking on the three dots behind the relevant animal and then choosing 'Offer animal'.
